BRAZOS VALLEY SPEAKS!

Carnegie History Center

Under the auspices of the Carnegie History Center’s Oral History project and oversight by the City of Bryan, Texas, BRAZOS VALLEY SPEAKS! (BVS), was established with encouragement of Bryan-College Station Library System Director, Larry Koeninger, and Carnegie History Center Director, Nancy Ross.

BVS reinforces the intrinsic status of the Carnegie History Center, seeks collections covering the span of Brazos Valley history, opening new portals into untold legacies, beginning with the Paleozoic Era as it pertains to indigenous populations, through the eventual settlement by pioneers from the Americas and Europe.
